Samsung EC-WB800FFPWUS Voucher

Maine IT (Maine United States) : An excellent choice for someone who wants a basic camera with great quality pictures. I use it for telephoto shots of birds and animals and it does not let me down. People who have seen the pictures frequently remark on the clarity. Samsung does not emphasize enough that the optical 18X and the digital 5X yields a 90X telephoto. Although at a lesser magnification, I can get a clear video of a squirrel at 100 feet that is Impressive. My only "con" is that their is no compatible app for the iPad available.

Tara Creighton : I chose Samsung because I was very pleased with the picture quality on my phone & tablet. The camera has proven to work just as well. I have already used it several times for waterfalls, fireworks, indoors, close ups, action, super moon gazing, etc. Excellent picture quality & enough zoom for the things I do (hiking, kids' sporting events). Moblie Link / wifi is very easy to use & none of the features have required excessive research of the manual. Was also very pleased with the price for all it's capabilities.

Randy Thill (Bisbee, Arizona) : I do tons of micro close up work that needs good color reproduction...every day. I find the camera works better than my high end cannon and my Fujifilm and am now using it all the time. I was a bit disappointed that the wi fi requires a password every time as my router's password isn't an easy one and I cannot change it and still get service, so I just use the cable to transfer images. For the price, it is definitely well worth it...and I recommend you give it a try if you like taking good photos.

Bootquest (Asheville) : I upgraded to this camera from an older Cannon Elph that had come to the end of it's days. I purchased the Samsung for a few different reasons and it has mostly met my expectations. It is wi-fi capable and had a better price point than other wi-fi cameras. Having used the wi-fi several times now I would say it's functional but not great. You can download an app for iphone or smartphone and the camera can send a picture to said phone but it takes a few steps to do it and it's not seamless, especially after a few drinks;) Still it works. One thing that irritates me is the Slow power up. It takes the camera a good 5 or 6 seconds to go from off to being ready to take a photo because of the touchscreen. Not a deal breaker but it's annoying. Also the flash is manual on this camera. You have to push a release button on top of the camera to allow the flash to pop up and the first hundred photos I took I had to retake because I forgot the flash wasn't automatic. The only other small complaint would be that the function control knob on top of the camera is loose and spins around at the slightest touch. If you put it in your pocket, it will wind up on another setting. Other than those few slight complaints, I like this camera. It takes great photos and the screen is bright and crisp. Good Luck and I hope you enjoy.

Leonard : Let's say I'm not very camera friendly, I can run rings around people on a puter but hand me a camera and don't leave me alone. lol I wanted to upgrade from my lumix, it's a decent camera for what I paid, today it's out dated.
I looked and went to stores and tried many, most were hard to operate meaning to vague features, since my lumix had auto settings I wanted something similar for us brain dead camera buffs. I found the Samsung WB250F, what a gem. it's super easy to use, darn near everything is automatic, I bought it and had it sent to my daughters home which is on the east coast (because I was going on vacation to visit her), I live in Wi. I wish I could upload pics to here, they were simply beautiful, I took some from inside the car which was moving, some at night with no flash, these are beautiful pics. many might say well this is good, that is good, maybe but can someone like me operate it without a degree in photography?

jacqueline anderson : I bought it for my mother, who wants to take photos to post to Facebook.
This camera is pretty intuitive and easy to use.
The only difficulty is figuring out how to save photos via wifi to iPhoto, dropbox or any other photo album.
I could not get the camera to recognize the Samsung app installed on an iPad.
Otherwise, a good camera.

Perry Carmichael "pc" (Scio, OR, US) : I got this for my wife because the old Panasonic that we have had for years is slow to focus. This camera is much faster to focus and allows her to take puppy pictures easily in the house where the light is low. Pano stitching work great and is fun to use, size is nice and form works well in our hands. Just a nice all round camera that I would get again if needed.

Susan M. : I love my new Samsung camera!! It takes the most amazing pictures and the 18X zoom is fantastic. When taking pictures at a concert, the zoom capability makes it seem like we were in the first 10 rows!!!!

BLAQFYAH "claudomir" (Boston, MA United States) : I purchases this item from Electronics Basket with fulfillment by Amazon. I spent a week researching this item and went into Best Buy to get a hands on experience. So a couple of days ago I ordered this camera. There were several options/colors/price points to consider. I originally wanted the white but went with red and with this company because the price was good ( though there were cheaper options but in the wrong color) and the item was fulfilled by Amazon.

Samsung NX EV-NX2000BFWUS Voucher

Desirae : This camera did not meet my expectations, it exceeded it. Not only was it phenomenal taking pictures at a birthday party but with the excellent zoom it took even better pictures at the maroon 5 concert I took my best friend to for her birthday. I would recommend this camera to everyone I know but, don't want them to have the same camera I do. :-p

Amazon Customer : This camera is one of the best point and shoot cameras I have owned it takes amazing pictures as well as video and the zoom really reaches out there with clarity pretty durable i have owned the camera now for about 3 months or more and have been all over with the camera buy an extera battery just in case the battery life on the camera is really good you can get about 450- 500 pictures in without shuting the camera off before the battery dies maybe 300 with wifi on SD card go with a class 10 or higher to get the best quality from the camera even with a class 4 the pictures come out really well.

Gen (IL, USA) : I bought this for a recent trip to NYC. I usually shoot with a DSLR and so am not typically impressed with point and shoot photos. This camera, however, does an excellent job. The pictures were clear, sharp, and had rich color quality. It also did an impressive job of taking night shots using 3200 ISO. Both noise levels and graininess were comparable to a lot DSLRs. The wireless feature also made it easy to back up photos to my tablet during the trip. I must admit I'm not really into the touch screen feature but was glad to see that features can be accessed through regular menus so your LCD doesn't have to be covered in smudges. My only concern in the pop-up flash. It feels very flimsy, and I don't think it would take much to break off.

Samsung EC-DV150FBPBUS Voucher

A. Jacquot (Idaho) : I have so needed this camera!
This camera is simple and as easy to use as a smart phone. You can upload your photos directly to your phone, Facebook, or the cloud (I use Dropbox). The menus are easy to follow. The photos are sharp and clear.
I admit I am not a gadget geek and all I wanted was a camera to take basic photos for eBay and for personal use. I don't want a big fancy camera with lots of bells and whistles. My Android phone doesn't quite do enough in the photo department for my needs, so I bought this camera. And it ROCKS!
This camera totally does everything I need it to do. Takes great pictures from inches away for my little eBay items, and yet also does awesome family photos. And it's fast. There doesn't seem to be that ridiculous lag time between pressing the shutter button and when the photo gets taken, thus your subject doesn't have time to move. It works like old-time (?) film cameras did.

eclectic : I am an advanced amateur (Which essentially means that photography has been my hobby for about 40 years, but I don't get paid to do it). I normally shoot my Nikon D7000 and my Nikon D7100, which is the best camera I have ever owned. But both of those cameras are bulky, so I was looking for a backup camera to carry around other than my iPhone and I have been through 8 of them so far, all sitting in my desk drawers now. I mainly got the Samsung because of it's WiFi capabilities and was willing to put up with some downgrading in picture quality, but still better than the iPhone and more option in manual mode and zoom abilities. I am very pleasantly surprised. This camera can take really good shots as long as you don't push the light into DSLR zones of extremes. And the wIfi works like a champ to my iPhone and it's exactly what I needed to be able to take quality pictures and email/upload/print them while away from my computers. I wish it were a little thinner and pocketable, but then the zoom wouldn't be as good as it is. So for the price, this is the best point and shoot that I have ever owned

HD Rider "HD Rider" (Texas) : Got this camera for free and I am very impressed. Color reproduction under daylight and low light (indoors) is perfect. It deals with various electric light hues brilliantly, even when they're combined in one shot. 18X optical zoom is crisp and clear. It boots quickly and boasts an impressive array of high-tech features like built-in WiFi, Facebook, Picasa, and direct links to my Samsung phone and SmartTV.

Samsung EC-WB30FZBPRUS Voucher

BOB : When I was trying to decide what compact camera to buy this year, I brought my choices down to: 1) WB250f 2) Canon Powershot SX280 hs and 3) Samsung Galaxy Camera. The Canon was tempting because admittedly, it probably has better IQ than either of the Samsung cameras. However, it lacked the touchscreen that WB250f has, and I know that inputing passwords and email info on a non-touchscreen was too much of a hassle for me. Truthfully, the Samsung Galaxy Camera was my number one choice. It has full Android on board with 3G/4G service. It has everything that the WB250f has plus more. BUT, it came with a bigger price tag on what is essentially last year's technology. The Galaxy Camera is basically a WB850f merged with a Galaxy S3 smartphone minus the call feature. After much thought, I decided to get the WB250f since the price was cheaper, and I couldn't justify paying the early adopter tax for last year's technology. The CPU and RAM is better on my Galaxy Note 2. The screen is bigger on my Note 2 than the Galaxy Camera. Considering how easy it is to connect my Note 2 to my WB250f, I am pleased that I made the right choice for me

AHB "barbwiretoo" (Marshall, VA USA) : This is an excellent camera with many great features mentioned in the other reviews, with one exception. The flash feature will only pop up about 60% of the time - 100% requires several attempts. The feature involves a mechanical release of a plastic tab below the flash inside the case and a hard to get to release button which must be pushed well below the surface of the case to release the flash. Camera is amazing on the auto-focus. The WiFi capabilities are without equal on other similar cameras. One concern for the future is the design of the flash portion, as the plastic release may wear down leaving no way for the flash to be stowed. The attachment of the erected flash appears to be subject to permanent mechanical damage with a slight mishap. However that has not been a concern. Hard to find a better camera for its intended purpose - perfect for travel. I would recommend it for someone who is not hard on their camera. Only reason it does not have 5 stars is the flash issue.

roaeja "Hey you!" (Nowhere, United States) : Great IQ comes with a price tag. The IQ, for the price of this camera is absolutely fine with me. Sure, if this was a high end compact camera or a DLSR lens, I would've been disappointed. But for a sub-$200 compact, I have no complaints. The photos are sharp enough, and if you want it sharper, there is an option to increase the sharpness under image adjust. There are many options to increase the vividness of the color- you could select the Vivid option in smart mode or even set the contrast and saturation higher in image adjust. Low light performance is great for its size. High ISO tends to be grainy but I think it is usable up to ISO800. Also, the low light option under smart mode does a pretty good job although some images might appear soft depending on how dark the environment is.

Samsung EC-DV150FBPLUS Voucher

Jocelyn Carpenter : much more user friendly than my digital camera which stopped working. I read about the WB250 on-line and believe it performs pretty much as promised. There is a learning curve... My only comment is I wish a users manual came with. I know I can (and have) download but it would more convenient to have a compact printed manual to throw in my camera bag.

Phil Mowrey : The family loves it since the interface is similar to a modern smartphone with the connection to wifi. The camera itself takes great pictures in almost all of the different modes automatically. The automatic macro mode doesn't come out good all the time but controlling the setting in manual mode fixes it. All in all I'm really happy with it and is a good balance of features, quality, and price.

JayeP (California, USA) : I've had this camera for about 3 months now and have used it on a regular basis. First off, this is not my one and only camera but an EDC- everyday carry. I purchased this camera as a compact camera that I can fit in my bag and take everywhere, everyday. I previously owned the WB150f, and I was very pleased with its performance. As I stated in that review, if you are looking to purchase a camera with spectacular IQ akin to DSLRs or even IQ on par with high end compact cameras, this camera is not for you. However, if you're looking for a camera that takes pretty good pictures, has the convenience of WiFi to upload quickly to FB to share your photos with your friends/family, has the capacity to quickly transfer photos between your camera and your smartphone and has a great optical zoom range, you might want to consider this camera.

Samsung NX1100 Voucher

John : The WB250F's 18x optical zoom is snappy but poorly implemented: it doesn't zoom in reasonably smooth increments. I wonder if the zoom is too fast by intention, or is the zoom lever too sensitive? The initial optical zoom between 1x - approx 5x is fine. However, after 7.8x, it jumps to about 12x, then about 15x, finally 18x. With the jerky zoom, I find it hard to frame a pic at just the right zoom for the scene. Also, the camera often hunts for focus, even when set to center focus. I've played with Program, Manual, Auto and the zoom issue persists. The zoom only gets smoother once in *digital* zoom at 19x and above (but pic quality will suffer if using digital zoom).

Henry : Focus hunting is fairly common with this camera. This happens sometimes even with good light when focusing on objects without sharp lines, e.g. clouds. Knowing that multi-point focus is more work for the camera, I keep it set to center-weighted focus. So, I'll lock in focus on a distant tree, then point the camera at the cloud. In some (but not all) cases, the camera focuses faster when set to "action shot" using the S mode on the selector dial. Focusing needs improvement - hope Samsung is listening.

TL : I'd been researching, and searching out cameras for months. I needed something that was not to heavy, had a fast reaction time, great zoom and MP that was not to cheap, but easy on the wallet as well. This product fit the mold to a T. In addition the battery is rechargeable and lasts a long time. I couldn't be happier. The only complaint I have is with the color it looks more black then blue. The zoom is fantastic. I love the wireless capabilities and the touch screen as well as the photo settings. All around a great product. I highly recommend.

Samsung WB100 Voucher

Melissa Faires : I bought this camera for my trip to Hawaii, what a deal! the camera is light and small enough to fit into my purse. The buttons are big enough and very easy to use. The pixel and zoom on this camera is one of the best for the price! Only down side is the flash has to be opened before use manually by a simple button. Its not a big deal but annoying when your taking pictures and forget to open it. ...although once in the habit of doing so you forget and its not really such a pain. I also notice most newer cameras have this feature so all in all I would buy this camera again and definitely recommend it to friends and family. Again great price for a really well rounded camera!

M. Sarkar : I carry a compact camera in my pocket quite often and generally prefer the older models with CCD sensors over the glitzy newer models with their 1/2.5 inch CMOS sensors. For the past 2-3 years, I've looked to upgrade for the wider 24-25 mm lenses and the 12-20x zooms on newer cameras, and had hoped that at least one manufacturer would put in a rotating LCD screen (or even a viewfinder, for those glaring sunny days) in a compact pocketable camera. I am not a pixel-peeper and I try to avoid post-processing on the computer. I do not expect to print any larger than 8x10 inch, so I have reasonable expectations from a compact travel camera. Hopefully, that gives you an idea about my perspective on photography with a point-and-shoot compact.

JJ : In playback mode, the touchscreen allows swiping to move back or forth. Not a huge thing, but an obvious touch (pun intended) coming from Samsung's giant footprint in smartphones. Toggling the "display" button (the top of the four-way controller) quickly shows a histogram and the exposure, etc data. One major frustration in playback mode is that the lower ~1/8th of the screen in playback mode gets partly obscured by a panel containing two "soft" buttons. So, unless you patiently wait a few seconds, you cannot see the entire photo in playback. Utterly irresponsible of the Samsung designers. Rather, incomprehensible, given how many other things have been nicely thought through and implemented in the touchscreen user interface.

Samsung ST72 Voucher

C. Bruce : I must say instead of purchasing from Amazon I couldn't wait and tested out cameras in Best Buy and was completely sold on this camera and paid $20 more +tax. It feels a little on the cheap side? Maybe just because it's light weight which I do like. It was very easy to connect to security enabled wi-fi and send pictures to facebook and email. Some things I believe require you to connect to a computer. The camera is very intuitive and hints automatically pop up on the screen to further explain what a feature can help you with. I have not picked up the manual yet. As another reviewer said the flash is odd but works very well. I think the way the flash is lends me to lean toward that cheap feeling because it seems as though it could be broken easily the way it is attached. However, the camera detects if you open it and then will allow for auto flash when open or flash off if it's closed.

Anonymous : I wondered how point and shoot cameras were going to keep up and this camera is an excellent example. This camera is by far better than any cell phone just with the wide angle and zoom capabilities. With the added sharing, touch screen, and intuitiveness that is integrated it makes it an very neat relatively compact device. It's not as compact as some but way smaller than the larger zoom cameras and is a great compromise.

Lily : Also something to note. This camera actually has a low light sensor that compensates for the light level versus detecting the light level and adjusting the shutter speed. When your shutter speed is slower to allow more light in this gives you more time to move the camera and means image stabilization has more to process. In other words it doesn't work very well. The samsung has a quick shutter speed in low light situations and does a nice job of compensating for the light therefore also making your pictures clearer and brighter. This is from my experience and the BB rep gave me a demonstration of it when I had narrowed my choices between a canon elph with wifi and the samsung.

Samsung Galaxy Camera EK-GC100 Voiucher

Shufeng Wang (Urbana, IL United States) : With mobile phone, you can take picture anywhere and edit and share instantly. However, there is one thing the smartphone can not and will never do, ZOOM. This piece is a smartphone with superzoom lens, 21X zoom, which is nearly a telescope when you wanna record sth far. This feature is very useful when you get chance to try it. This is the first reason that I think the camera is worth to buy. The tele-zoom lens is the only value for small digital cameras, or, you can use your mobile instead.

Tom (Palo Alto, CA) : The camera user interface on the phone is usable but somewhat immature and gimmicky. One of the most annoying things about it something seemingly small: you can't tell where you end up when you turn on the camera; after a long wait, you end up in the photo app by default, which means the lens extends, at other times, you just end up in whatever app you were before. This means you constantly have the lens pushing into your hand. Furthermore, many Android apps don't expect anything to happen when they initialize the camera, so they do it frequently, meaning in some apps, the lens retracts and extends frequently.

Thomas Bernstein (Norman, OK United States) : I bought this camera because I was really attracted to the idea of being able to edit and share my pictures without having to upload them to my computer. This camera certainly does that, and does it very very well. I won't go into more detail on that as it is identical in that regard to any smartphone. It also has superb build quality, and feels very solid (though it is also heavy, and probably wouldn't survive much of a fall). The screen on the back is also really great, boasting a bright 720P display that is actually superior to the one on the Galaxy SIII. But as an actual camera, however, it really disappoints. Especially for the price!

Samsung VG-STC3000 Voucher

Ian Beattie : I took the camera out of the box placed it on the TV plugged in the USB to the TV and it worked right away.
Having skype on the TV allows us to see our grandchildren while sitting in the living room rather than crowding round our laptop computer.
The camera is smaller and less obtrusive than it appears in the Ads

john : Great little device. We really enjoy it. Only negatives are that it shows mirror image so when we held up a sign for our grandchild to read, it was as if they were looking at it in a mirror. Also, they need more info on how to change the different screens back and forth. You can make either the folks you are speaking with larger or you can make what they are seeing larger but it sure isn't intuitive on how to change it back once you do. Still, great picture and great audio so definitely worth it. Makes Skyping a lot more fun! Really should be a 4.5 instead of a 4!

J. P. Dowd (San Francisco, CA) : The camera failed after three days and that's when the (continuing) customer no-service marathon began --- you know the one... where the company makes it so impossibly difficult and time consuming to file a warranty claim that you eventually start yelling at your children and throwing electronics against the wall. [Note to Samsung support: no, I did not throw the camera against the wall or mistreat it in any way. It stopped working all by itself.]

Samsung WB150F Voucher

David L. Oliver "Desert Denizen" (Deming, NM United States) : I bought this camera for its portability, because I so often failed to have a camera with me when a great shot presented itself. I wasn't expecting too much, but was really surprised.
The image quality is nothing short of amazing. The lens seems to have few aberrations anywhere in its very wide zoom range. I don't use the longer focal lengths much but really appreciate that it has the equivalent of 24 mm at the wide-angle end.
This spring has been good for wildflowers here in the desert. I have taken many shots of plants for identification as well as working with flower macros, trying to achieve some "artsy" shots. I'm very happy with the results.
I've also done some videos, notably one of ants being very busy. Looks great on the big screen at 1080p, even though the camera only takes 720.

Photog Dude : I based my purchase mainly on the WI-FI, 18x ZOOM, and compatibility of my Samsung Galaxy phone. First of all flash your camera to the latest firmware (May,2012). Install the CD on your computer and there's pull-down for firmware upgrade, follow instructions, if you get lost, there's a blurb on YouTube on how to flash your camera. Connect your camera to a wifi access point then begin uploading to SkyDrive, Picasa, FB. Post directly to FB. You'll need to create an account on SkyDrive to upload to the Cloud. I use DropBox I can appreciate saving to the cloud. Enable your phone to "hotspot" then use your phone to connect to the Web. I'm an avoid DSLR user so I wanted something that can be used traveling rather than carrying a gigantic DSLR. The HD video is 720p and it's fine for my needs. It's a lot more stable than my JVC 3CCD HD 1080p, video is very stable. Reviews say the color is most accurate and it's true, very vivid images. You may want to mess with the general settings of contrast, brightness and color density to get it just right. I TOTALLY recommend the Samsung WB150! I'll post more as I begin getting into the guts of this camera.

bweets : I purchased this camera as a "carry around" point and shoot for occasions when dragging a D-SLR is not quite suited. Wanted something with reasonable telephoto and high megapixel (for printing) and was very impressed with the list of features including; wi-fi transfer, upload to MicroSoft Skydrive, Android live-view app (very cool) and some of the other shooting modes. The camera is full of fun features and they all work very well as described, the downside unfortunately is the camera. It takes wonderful pictures in wide-angle, broad daylight but anything beyond that it really struggles with. Night photos are very grainy as are telephoto photos in moderate lighting. The telephoto is understandable as many variables play into zoomed images but the night and indoor shots almost make you want to leave this camera at home and just use your smartphone. The indoor images are very comparable

Samsung EC-ST150FBPBUS Voucher

S. Williams (Miami) : I give this camera 4 stars because if all you're looking for is a basic, literally point and shoot camera. Look no further, this may be it.
What I was looking for:
- something very slim that I could put in my pocket as I do my smartphone
- great picture quality
- decent optical zoom
- HD video recording

J. Conner "qm2-703" (chicago suburbs) :  I would advise you to read the reviews of S.Williams, D.Shannon, and B. Valdez....I would sign my own name to those comments.
For me, the low-light w/o flash seemed maybe a bit better than those two reviewers found, but I do agree also that using flash is better. Flash color results are fairly well balanced, and flash has the added benefit of helping stop motion blur.
I have only one comment of my own. Compared to the Panasonic SZ-7 I gave my wife a few months ago, the 5 power zoom is a bit limiting for my purposes, but my wife thinks 5 power is plenty for her Interior Design and Real Estate practice and for most family photos, and she wants to have the WiFi connectivity. Our son got it to work quite well, in about 30 mins., connecting to a Sony and a HTC phone.

Ant : Nice little camera.
Hi-res allows some pretty decent digital zooming beyond the 5x optical. Start-up and shutter release time are quick except when using the flash repeatedly.
Loaded the app on my iPad a can preview, zoom and fire the shutter from the iPad. Good selection of scenes and filters/effects. Smart Scene really is pretty smart. Macro close-ups works better than any small camera I've owned. Low light shots are noisy; use the flash, turn on some lights or get out your big DSLR. Digital image stabilization isn't as good as optical IS but it works well within limits.

Samsung Galaxy EK-GC110ZWAXAR Voucher

TheWiredKnot : This review is for the camera only, not the company 'Sunset Electronics' (I will explain at the end of this review) This camera exceeded my expectations. For those who were also wondering, this is a rechargable camera that uses the exact same charger as the samsung galaxy S4 and the samsung galaxy note and others I'm sure, I just happen to have those 2 samsung products. One of the reasons I chose this camera was to be able to connect and share with my other samsung devices. And it works perfectly. If you have been on the fence about getting a wi-fi camera GET OFF THE FENCE and buy one. My all time favorite feature is when I take a picture it is automatically sent to my dropbox account and sent to all of the my other devices including my my desktop and laptop where I can do final editing and what not

Adler : I have reviewed a significant number of products , plus my current cameras that I have enjoyed. This camera really presents unbelievable options for "point-and - shoot". It also gives individuals the opportunity who like to manually adjust the functions of the camera. It's telescopic lens is very powerful and makes distance shooting a real pleasure. Picture quality is excellent.

Film Fanatic (North Carolina) : I recently went on a trip to London, and I bought this camera after doing some research ahead of time. I was looking for a pocketable point-and-shoot that would still take some good photos, better than what I could get with my iPhone camera. While it performed admirably in certain scenarios, I was actually pretty frustrated by it at certain points

Samsung DV300F Voucher

BookWorm620 (Phoenix, AZ, United States) : This camera is not as good as some you can get in this price range, but it has a few very specific features that make it unique and definitely worth it if you are like me, the only photographer of an active family.I bought it almost solely because of the front LCD screen allowing me to take pictures of myself and other family members, and the Wifi Mobile App that allows me to use my cell phone as the viewfinder and picture taking remote, which allows me in even more pictures, and makes setting up posed group shots very easy.

Persephone : I am not interested in Wi Fi capabilities---what I want is a good camera that performs well and is compact and easy to carry. (I have a big honker with fancy lenses, etc if I want that.) It is missing something very important: the ability to snap a photo quickly. The shutter lag is *terrible*---unless the subject is a statue and doesn't move, I miss shot after shot. Add a flash and it gets even worse. Even my old 2003 Sony Cybershot does better in this. What good are all these fancy features when such a basic one is missing?

Tron "Steven Thomson" (USA) : The Samsung DV300F is a brilliant little camera from Samsung. It's 16 megapixel resolution creates pictures with stunning details and with it's large amount of on board features offer a great camera experience for beginners and those seasoned camera pros. The interface resembles that of a smart phone. You need only swipe the little zoom knob (located on the top of the camera around the capture button) to navigate different windows. the user can swipe between several options on the camera including: Basic, Wi-Fi, Scene, Magic, and Album.

John kaufman (MADISON, OH, US) : Photo quality
This was my main consideration when buying a new camera. I have to say that the camera does not disappoint me at all. I've taken indoor low light pics, as well as outdoor pictures of my dogs running around at full speed with only the automatic settings, and the pictures have all come out better than expected. Action shots are frozen and crisp, and close up portraits are significantly better than I expected, not $1200 DLSR quality, but for a sub $200 point and shoot, WAY better than expected - I doubt the average person could tell the difference. The portraits show clear subject, no distortion, excellent color and shallow depth of field just like a DLSR and all on auto settings.

Samsung WB150F Voucher

Sully : There are a few reviews on this camera from people who did not delve into the complex settings of the device you are looking at. Their reviews unfortunately dragged down the star ratings to an unrealistic rating. This camera is great! Image quality is great! However, I have not used the automatic mode very much. You will get amazing quality pictures when you spend time on your shots. There are simple settings like ISO (light sensitivity), aperture, and shutter speed. Toggling these settings will create awesome pictures worthy of your family album, Facebook profile, and personal website.

Lucky Boy : This camera does everything as advertised,I like the feel and asthetics of this camera and the performance is outstanding.
Really like the wireless capabilities. Wish it had an address book for emailing photos and videos but for the price this camera ROCKS!!!!Samsung WB150F Smart Wi-Fi Digital Camera (White)

Angela Streiff (Minnesota) : I shopped around for so long, trying to find just the perfect camera to replace my old digital one. I literally wore out my last digital camera. It got to the point where the lens covers came off, and the photos that were taken took several minutes to save to the memory card. So it was time for something new. After months of shopping and reading reviews, I took a chance on this Samsung. I have to admit, I was a sucker for the white case color. It's a modern and clean look and case color, and with the features is has, I had to believe it would take at least adequate photos, and it may very well do that, if you know how to change all the light and and shutter settings.

Samsung NX1000 Voucher

Bron "Bron" (Richmond, VA USA) : The NX1100 will debut with a MSP of $599 (vs. $699 for the NX1000) and comes bundled with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 and some new Wifi features - namely Autoshare. But guess what? Autoshare is available for the NX1000 in the 1.13 firmware update! I already own Adobe Photoshop LR 4, and even with the lower NX1100 price, the NX1000 (basically the same camera) at current prices (340-360) is a great value. Compared to models like the 200/210 it offers the exact same APS-C sensor and is almost identical in image quality and handling. what you are giving up is the AMOLED display, metal body and a few other minor things. (The LCD display on the 1000/1100 is fine, if not quite as good as far as contrast, deep blacks, it is still very usable.)

Ronizetti (Indianapolis, IN United States) : A very early review as I've only had the camera two days now ... So far, I'm impressed. Size fits the hand well though the stock lens is the biggest part of the camera - however it's nicely balanced. The lens is on the better side for a kit lens. It's sharp throughout and focus is very accurate. Screen is smaller than I'm used to, but that's to be expected when downsizing, but adequate enough to compose your photos. On the cosmetics side, which in white and pink will be a factor in some purchases, the white version I'm sorry to report is mildly 'pearly' rather like the Panasonic Lumix white cameras, but a more plasticized quality than glossy (ok by me). Battery charging is very quick and camera startup quick as well. I did notice on my initial Jpegs that the write speed, dependent upon which settings used, wasn't lightening fast. Quality of the images were very good in Jpeg. I generally utilize Raw files but have yet to attempt those for now. Jpegs were very lifelike if slightly on the dulled side ... a quick drop in Lightroom to adjust contrast, saturation and sharpening proved very fine images possible with very good focus/detail ... I suspect I could adjust some of those qualities inside the camera settings as well, as I said, an early review. I find the resulting photos very film like, with a nice gradient pixel when enlarged. As I couldn't get my hands on one locally to hold/view, I lucked out and ordered online at a huge electronics chain which had them in stock and until August 16th, has it at the unbeatable price of $499 AND available bundled with the 50-200 tele lens for only $49 more! I prefer to purchase my camera equipment at Amazon and would have if it had been available with Amazon and not a outside vendor, but that price break steered me into an early purchase. At full price, I would say it might be a hard sell and decission, but discounted, it's a winner.

Jack McKay (Port Ludlow, WA, US) : I was gonna purchase a regular point and shoot but with the advances in smartphone cameras I feared there wouldn't be much of a noticeable difference. When I saw this camera for 300.00 I grabbed it immediately. The new version (nx2000) is almost the same and it costs double. So my theory was if the new version didn't get any major upgrades then the nx1000 must still be fairly current, making it a great deal at 300 dollars. I was right. I'm getting better pics from this than my sisters Canon DSLR. Hers is an older model but I didn't expect it to be nearly as good let alone better. Plus the WiFi connectivity is awesome. I like the mobile link feature that allows you to send multiple full res pics to your smartphone quickly. This was a big reason why I wanted this camera.
