Samsung EC-ST150FBPBUS Voucher

S. Williams (Miami) : I give this camera 4 stars because if all you're looking for is a basic, literally point and shoot camera. Look no further, this may be it.
What I was looking for:
- something very slim that I could put in my pocket as I do my smartphone
- great picture quality
- decent optical zoom
- HD video recording

J. Conner "qm2-703" (chicago suburbs) :  I would advise you to read the reviews of S.Williams, D.Shannon, and B. Valdez....I would sign my own name to those comments.
For me, the low-light w/o flash seemed maybe a bit better than those two reviewers found, but I do agree also that using flash is better. Flash color results are fairly well balanced, and flash has the added benefit of helping stop motion blur.
I have only one comment of my own. Compared to the Panasonic SZ-7 I gave my wife a few months ago, the 5 power zoom is a bit limiting for my purposes, but my wife thinks 5 power is plenty for her Interior Design and Real Estate practice and for most family photos, and she wants to have the WiFi connectivity. Our son got it to work quite well, in about 30 mins., connecting to a Sony and a HTC phone.

Ant : Nice little camera.
Hi-res allows some pretty decent digital zooming beyond the 5x optical. Start-up and shutter release time are quick except when using the flash repeatedly.
Loaded the app on my iPad a can preview, zoom and fire the shutter from the iPad. Good selection of scenes and filters/effects. Smart Scene really is pretty smart. Macro close-ups works better than any small camera I've owned. Low light shots are noisy; use the flash, turn on some lights or get out your big DSLR. Digital image stabilization isn't as good as optical IS but it works well within limits.
